‘Creation’ by Zane Macdonald

‘Creation’ by local artist Zane Macdonald was inspired by Michelangelo’s ‘Creation of Adam’ in the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City.

Zane works in metals and therefore his interpretation is quite juxtaposed to the original

This piece also also conjures images from Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ album especially the image of two hands shaking, one being mechanical, a tribute to the song ‘Welcome To The Machine’

Zane is a relatively new artist to the scene but will become quite collectable in the future
